Our company is called ASVAN for a very specific reason. The name ASVAN is a twist of the word ASLAN, the Lion character from the films adapted from the books, The Chronicles of Narnia, written by C. S. Lewis.

C. S. Lewis wrote a total of seven books all about a secret world called "Narnia". Four of his books have been adapted to film, the most recent being "The Magicians Nephew".

The main character of his films is the Lion character known as "Aslan", who was C. S. Lewis' way of imagining Jesus Christ in this fictitious world of Narnia. Jesus was called "The Lion of Judah" in The Bible.

Although many people do not realise it, but the Narnia books (and films) are all about Faith, and in particular the Christian Faith.

The above is therefore the reasons why we have called our company the name that we have.

The symbolism of The Lion is varied across many world religions and cultures and is often considered a sign of strength, courage, royalty, and protection. To us this signifies the unity that should exist among all peoples, those that are of Faith and those that are of none.
